Revolut Gains MiCA License in Cyprus to Broaden Regulated Crypto Services Across Europe
Fintech giant Revolut has obtained the Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) license from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), enabling the company to offer regulated cryptocurrency services throughout the European Economic Area (EEA), which comprises 30 countries. Serving over 65 million customers globally, Revolut emphasized that this regulatory approval reinforces its commitment to a compliance-first strategy in the crypto sector. The new license allows the firm to expand its portfolio of regulated digital asset offerings under the framework established by MiCA, which recently came into effect across the European Union, standardizing crypto market regulations.
