The recent capital injection includes $41.6 million from a strategic funding round and supplements earlier investments from notable backers such as Outlier Ventures, as well as family offices and institutional investors located in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. This information was disclosed in an official announcement shared with CoinDesk.
Astra Nova focuses on developing user-friendly blockchain solutions that enable creators to build interactive entertainment offerings without requiring programming expertise. Its primary product, TokenPlay AI, serves as a no-code launchpad for mini-applications. Powered by Alibaba Cloud, TokenPlay AI empowers tokenized communities to quickly create engaging, interactive utilities, reportedly within just minutes.
Beyond TokenPlay AI, Astra Nova has a number of live projects including NovaToon, a Web3-based webtoon platform that integrates NFTs to facilitate collaborative storytelling between creators and fans. Additionally, Deviants: Fight Club is a Telegram-integrated player-versus-player game that incorporates Astra Nova’s native cryptocurrency token, RVV, to reward in-game achievements.
The company also operates BlackPass, an onchain engagement and loyalty program which has attracted over 250,000 users so far, emphasizing Astra Nova’s focus on fostering active user participation within tokenized ecosystems.
Looking ahead, Astra Nova plans to broaden its reach by entering new markets across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. The firm is also actively working towards ensuring compliance with relevant regulations as part of its growth strategy.
